Bridging the Gap is an Intensive Intervention and Risk Management Service and has been commissioned by NHS England and NOMs to deliver individually tailored and Psychologically informed interventions to high risk male offenders in North Yorkshire and Humberside. This is a community based service designed to support the outcomes of the Offender Personality Disorder Pathway.
The aim is to manage risk of serious harm and reoffending and work with individuals to promote psychological well-being and social engagement.
All individuals working with Bridging the Gap are to be on licence or on a community order and under the supervision of an Offender Manager. We ask that referrals are completed by the Offender Manager.
Bridging the Gap is a Community based intervention and risk management service that will complement and enhance work within existing provision. We do not offer competing or alternative arrangements to the usual services offered by the Probation Service.
